Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than God, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy. (4:82)

O people of the Book! There hath come to you our Apostle, revealing to you much that ye used to hide in the Book, and passing over much (that is now unnecessary): (5:16)

When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy. (7:204)

God hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur'an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than God? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme. (9:111)

But when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed unto them, those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, Say: "Bring us a reading other than this, or change this," Say: "It is not for me, of my own accord, to change it: I follow naught but what is revealed unto me: if I were to disobey my Lord, I should myself fear the penalty of a Great Day (to come)." (10:15)

This Qur'an is not such as can be produced by other than God; on the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that went before it, and a fuller explanation of the Book - wherein there is no doubt - from the Lord of the worlds. (10:37)

Or they may say, "He forged it," Say, "Bring ye then ten suras forged, like unto it, and call (to your aid) whomsoever ye can, other than God!- If ye speak the truth! (11:13)

"If then they (your false gods) answer not your (call), know ye that this revelation is sent down (replete) with the knowledge of God, and that there is no god but He! will ye even then submit (to Islam)?" (11:14)

We do relate unto thee the most beautiful of stories, in that We reveal to thee this (portion of the) Qur'an: before this, thou too was among those who knew it not. (12:3)

And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. (15:87)

(So also on such) as have made Qur'an into shreds (as they please). (15:91)

When thou dost read the Qur'an, seek God's protection from Satan the rejected one. (16:98)

Verily this Qur'an doth guide to that which is most right (or stable), and giveth the Glad Tidings to the Believers who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a magnificent reward; (17:9)

We have explained (things) in various (ways) in this Qur'an, in order that they may receive admonition, but it only increases their flight (from the Truth)! (17:41)

When thou dost recite the Qur'an, We put, between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter, a veil invisible: (17:45)

And We put coverings over their hearts (and minds) lest they should understand the Qur'an, and deafness into their ears: when thou dost commemorate thy Lord and Him alone in the Qur'an, they turn on their backs, fleeing (from the Truth). (17:46)

Behold! We told thee that thy Lord doth encompass mankind round about: We granted the vision which We showed thee, but as a trial for men,- as also the Cursed Tree (mentioned) in the Qur'an: We put terror (and warning) into them, but it only increases their inordinate transgression! (17:60)

We send down (stage by stage) in the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe: to the unjust it causes nothing but loss after loss. (17:82)

Say: "If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support. (17:88)

And We have explained to man, in this Qur'an, every kind of similitude: yet the greater part of men refuse (to receive it) except with ingratitude! (17:89)

We have explained in detail in this Qur'an, for the benefit of mankind, every kind of similitude: but man is, in most things, contentious. (18:54)

We have not sent down the Qur'an to thee to be (an occasion) for thy distress, (20:2)

High above all is God, the King, the Truth! Be not in haste with the Qur'an before its revelation to thee is completed, but say, "O my Lord! advance me in knowledge." (20:114)

But the misbelievers say: "Naught is this but a lie which he has forged, and others have helped him at it." In truth it is they who have put forward an iniquity and a falsehood. (25:4)

Say: "The (Qur'an) was sent down by Him who knows the mystery (that is) in the heavens and the earth: verily He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (25:6)

"O my Lord! Truly my people took this Qur'an for just foolish nonsense." (25:30)

Those who reject Faith say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once? Thus (is it revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have rehearsed it to thee in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually. (25:32)

These are verses of the Qur'an,-a book that makes (things) clear; (27:1)

As to thee, the Qur'an is bestowed upon thee from the presence of one who is wise and all-knowing. (27:6)

Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree. (27:76)

And to rehearse the Qur'an: and if any accept guidance, they do it for the good of their own souls, and if any stray, say: "I am only a Warner". (27:92)

Verily He Who ordained the Qur'an for thee, will bring thee back to the Place of Return. Say: "My Lord knows best who it is that brings true guidance, and who is in manifest error." (28:85)

verily We have propounded for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable: But if thou bring to them any Sign, the Unbelievers are sure to say, "Ye do nothing but talk vanities." (30:58)

The Unbelievers say: "We shall neither believe in this scripture nor in (any) that (came) before it." Couldst thou but see when the wrong-doers will be made to stand before their Lord, throwing back the word (of blame) on one another! Those who had been despised will say to the arrogant ones: "Had it not been for you, we should certainly have been believers!" (34:31)

By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- (36:2)

Sad: By the Qur'an, Full of Admonition: (This is the Truth). (38:1)

We have put forth for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable, in order that they may receive admonition. (39:27)

The Unbelievers say: "Listen not to this Qur'an, but talk at random in the midst of its (reading), that ye may gain the upper hand!" (41:26)

Had We sent this as a Qur'an (in the language) other than Arabic, they would have said: "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic and (a Messenger an Arab?" Say: "It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not, there is a deafness in their ears, and it is blindness in their (eyes): They are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!" (41:44)

Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Qur'an: that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her,- and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt: (when) some will be in the Garden, and some in the Blazing Fire. (42:7)

Also, they say: "Why is not this Qur'an sent down to some leading man in either of the two (chief) cities?" (43:31)

And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy: And this Book confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right. (46:12)

Behold, We turned towards thee a company of Jinns (quietly) listening to the Qur'an: when they stood in the presence thereof, they said, "Listen in silence!" When the (reading) was finished, they returned to their people, to warn (them of their sins). (46:29)

Do they not then earnestly seek to understand the Qur'an, or are their hearts locked up by them? (47:24)

Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art God's Apostle). (50:1)

We know best what they say; and thou art not one to overawe them by force. So admonish with the Qur'an such as fear My Warning! (50:45)

But We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? (54:22)

And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? (54:32)

And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? (54:40)

It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. (55:2)

Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- (56:75)

Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of God. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect. (59:21)

That this is verily the word of an honoured apostle; (69:40)

Or a little more; and recite the Qur'an in slow, measured rhythmic tones. (73:4)

Thy Lord doth know that thou standest forth (to prayer) nigh two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so doth a party of those with thee. But God doth appoint night and day in due measure He knoweth that ye are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of God's bounty; yet others fighting in God's Cause, read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to God a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls ye shall find it in God's Presence,- yea, better and greater, in Reward and seek ye the Grace of God: for God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (73:20)

It is We Who have sent down the Qur'an to thee by stages. (76:23)

And when the Qur'an is read to them, they fall not prostrate, (84:21)
